Wish You Were Here
“Wish You Were Here” celebrates the natural beauty and wildlife of La Quinta through a vibrant desert landscape filled with iconic local species, including the bighorn sheep, roadrunner, quail, coyote, and rattlesnake. Framed by native flora and set against the backdrop of the Santa Rosa Mountains, the mural transforms a familiar postcard phrase into an invitation to experience the community’s unique character, environment, and sense of place. Designed for La Quinta City Hall, the piece serves as both a welcoming landmark and a reflection of the city’s connection to the desert that surrounds it.
